A Little History...

My husband, Jesse, and I founded Blue Sky Healing Place in the Spring of 2020. It has been my goal since the start of working on my counseling degree to be able to have my own private counseling practice. We always said Jesse would be the business guy and I would do the talking. Well, here we are! We just never imagined it coming to fruition in this way. In the midst of a pandemic and global crisis, the obvious overwhelming needs for mental health support in our communities became unsettling. So many people have been, and continue to be, effected in so many ways. It felt like our duty to try to help out and contribute in whatever ways we could. We decided to move forward in a leap of faith to pursue our dreams, and more importantly, in hopes to share a part in helping someone else.

I have been a counselor for over 15 years. I have worked with all ages, with a broad range of diagnoses and treatment modalities, and in a variety of settings. I am licensed and trained to work with both mental health and substance abuse concerns. I am also a Board-Certified Telemental Health Provider (BC-TMH).
